One day we visited an Orphanage here in Tijuana, Mexico, it was such a good time to be with the children there are 34 little boys from babies to like 15 yrs old kids. There are about 12 girls too, in another building.
We got to play with the kids, sing and dance with them, it was such an good time to just really love them and show them how precious they all are. By the end of the visits many of the little children had curled up on our laps for a sleep.
So I met this little boy he is like 3 yrs old and I asked why is he there what happened to his family? And the reply was that his mother died 3 months ago and his father left him alone too. He now has no one, no family to visit him or care for him.
He is such a precious little boy he is so cute and so interested in life, and liked making new friends. This really hit me and challenged me.
This made me see that all of us have a place to play in the lives of people we meet.
Even when we are not family to people and they are looking for love or a hug or an ear to listen to them we can be there we can be available like Jesus was.
He never said to anyone "Oh sorry i don't have time" no he would stop and he would listen he would sit with the people that no one else had time for. Or no one else wanted to be associated too.
This is the challenge for me and the challenge i will carry every step i walk in every place i go, It is something i just sometimes get caught up in my tasks or my own world but i hope and if not you can keep me accountable.
But really there is hope for each one of these little children so pray with me that they can find families and people who will love them unconditionally!!!
So heartbreaking but so powerful that God uses us to love the unloved and introduce them to a wonderful loving Father who will never abandon them :-)
